Black Throated Finch
As some of you may have already heard, the Queensland government has approved the management plan for the endangered Black-throated Finch. Which unfortunately means it is most likely one step closer to its extinction.
So far this species has already lost 88% of its previous range, and with this newly approved plan, it is almost certain that it will continue to fall, as Adani’s plan will not provided the care or protection that is really needed to preserve its population.
In order to assure the Black-throated Finch’s survival, along with hundreds of other species within the area, we must stop the mining that is destroying it.
